Whether you picked up on launch day or want to get one now, there's a large selection of titles you shouldn't miss, across a wide variety of genres.PS4 has action games, adventure games, fighting games, shooters and RPGs to spare, and we've gathered some of its best titles together here.

God of War

the God of War game is back, and it's very different. Kratos, formerly a living ball of rage, is now a family man, trying to balance his past with his devotion to his son, Atreus. Leaving Greece behind, Kratos now occupies Scandinavia and that means, among other things, that there's a whole new host of mythical beasts to slay. the gameplay is as satisfying as ever, pitting the demigod against all manner of trolls, sea monsters and dragons.

Assassin's Creed Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins is one of the best entries in the long-running series. Expect a long, meaty adventure, too, especially if you want to complete every one of the game's abundant side quests. As Bayek of Siwa, you'll travel all around the country as you unravel a deadly conspiracy that could shake the ancient world to its core. 

Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn is an open world, a creative story, a relatable protagonist, a variety of challenges and, of course, a whole host of gigantic robot dinosaurs. she explores the dangerous world around her, she learns that she may play a pivotal role in changing it for the better

Injustice 2

This game starts by easing with an imaginative DC Comics storyline and a large cast of recognizable characters. Over time, it familiarizes them with a deep, customizable gear system, which changes not only their stats, but their appearances as well.Injustice 2 offers the best of both worlds. 

Resident Evil 7

This first-person horror title took the establishment back to its foundations with cramped situations, unsettling characters, a cloying feeling of fear and simply enough hop alarms to keep players on the edge of their seats. In case you're feeling especially brave, you can even play in VR for extra submersion.

The Witcher 3

Geralt is a witcher, a professional monster hunter who roams the land. Both combat and conversation are at the forefront of this enormous role-playing game, which features deep character customization and storyline choices that have unpredictable effects on the narrative.

Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4 is the last, and arguably the best, game in the Uncharted series, combining a delightful historical mystery with top-notch gunplay and vehicular exploration sections. If you haven't already played the first three games, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is also worthwhile.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

An army of Nazis has seized the United States, and ticked-off soldier B.J. Blazkowicz is intent on becoming a one-man army in order to kick them out. Wolfenstein II is the reason for inventive level design and satisfying array of weapon.

Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix's long-running series of role-playing games, Final Fantasy XV still tells a story about a group of misfits banding together to save the world. This game aims to explore the nature of male relationships, but also provides a moving story with tough, fast-paced gameplay.
